Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli is an American actress. Her birth date was April 23, 1960[2. Her first recognition came as an adolescent, portraying Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984), for which she took home two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. She subsequently earned adult stardom in the roles of Gloria on the religious drama series Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) as well as Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015) in which the latter brought her a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2012, she was honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2012. Bertinelli's contract renewal with Food Network was signed in December 2021. Bertinelli has been signed on in the coming months with Food Network in December 2021. She previously was married to Eddie Van Halen, a singer in 1981, until 2007. The couple has one son named Wolfgang. The couple was together for a time with Tom Vitale from 2011 to 2022.
